Canonical Ltd. is now taking pre-orders for free installation CDs with the 6.06 (Dapper Drake) version of Ubuntu and Kubuntu Linux. The current version of Ubuntu Linux quickly became one of the most popular Linux distributions because if its ease of installation and ease of use. The next version called Dapper Drake is predicted to be even better. Ubuntu uses the Gnome graphical user interface and Kubuntu uses the KDE GUI.
If you don't want to wait for the CD you can download the 5.10 version (Breezy Badger) now. The new Dapper Drake version which is slated to be released in June, but it will probably take a while for the CD's to start rolling out the door.
